ADMISSION :
|
|
A candidate seeking admission must produce the following documents : |
|
a ) |
Original Birth Certificate from K.M.C along with photocopy. The original will be returned. |
|
|
b ) |
Latest Progress Report.
|
|
|
c ) |
A Transfer Certificate from the former school. |
|
|
d ) |
A photocopy of Aadhaar card. |
|
|
e ) |
A Transfer Certificate from Banglar Siksha portal. |
|
|
|
Notwithstanding anything mentioned herein the Headmaster/ Headmistress may at his/ her sole discretion required any parent, at any time, to take Transfer Certificate of his/her ward. |
|
WITHDRAWAL :
|
|
One calendar month’s notice or a month’s fees in lieu of notice must be paid before withdrawing a pupil from the school.
If a pupil is withdrawn after the start of the New Session, then the full Annual fees and other charges must be paid before applying for transfer certificate. |
|
ATTENDANCE :
|
|
Parents must urge their wards to be regular in attendance. Parents are requested not to take their children away from school before the vacation begins or bring them back after the scheduled date of re- opening.
Pupils must be punctual for class. Students arriving after the first bell are likely to be sent home. To be admitted to the class rooms, absentness and late-comers must show the class teacher their Regularity Records duly countersigned by the Headmaster/Headmistress/ Administrator.
Reasons for absence from school without prior permission must be briefly noted in the Regularity Record. Birthdays, excursions, marriage, urgent business are not to be considered as sufficient reasons.
Absence from school by way of prefixing or suffixing to any holiday given in the school calendar, is punishable by way of suspension from classes.
If a pupil is absent for a period of three days or more at a stretch due to illness, a medical certificate must be submitted to the Headmaster/ Headmistress on the pupil’s return.
Many parents/ guardians request for early departure of their wards after the Weekly Tests on ground of ill-health. If a child is unwell, parents are requested not to send the child only to appear for the Weekly Test as early departure, immediately after the Test, will not be allowed.
Except on emergencies, no one will be allowed to leave school before dismissal time. |

GENERAL :
|
|
Hair style For Girls: |
Hair must be cut short or worn in plaits. No fancy clips or hair bands will be allowed. Only black hair bands will be allowed.
|
|
|
Hair style For Boys: |
Hair must be cut short or else students with long hair are liable to be sent to the saloon for a haircut from the school.
|
|
|
Henna/Dye: |
Strictly forbidden. Students who apply henna/dye will have to stay away from class till it wears off and the parents will heave to explain as to why their ward had applied it.
|
|
|
Eyeliner: |
Students who apply ‘Kaajal’ will not be permitted to enter the class. Repeated use of kaajal will be dealt with severely.
|
|
|
Nails: |
Long nails are not tolerated and neither is nail polish allowed.
|
|
|
LUNCH(Tiffin) :
|
|
It is mandatory that students bring their lunch(in Tiffin boxes), except on Friday and Saturdays. Please note that this is not optional but compulsory: Please notes that pre-cooked, packaged food-stuff such as potato chips, Kurkure etc. will not be allowed as a constituent of the tiffin. |

UNIFORM:
|
|
Wearing uniform is compulsory for all students. |

a ) |
Boys : White half-sleeved shirt with buttoned-down collars (with Academy badge on breast pocket ) and Grey Trousers, Green and Gold Stripped Tie and Belt. Black Laced School Shoes without fancy fittings, White Socks. |
|
|
b ) |
Girls :For Kinder Garten : White blouse (with academy badge on pocket) and grey pleated skirt. Green and gold striped tie and belt, ballerina shoes, white socks.
From class I to Class XII : Grey salwar with white kameez and grey dupatta with Academy badge on left sleeve. Muslim girls have to compulsorily wear grey hijab, ballerina shoes and white socks.

White socks and keds must be worn on days Physical Education is mentioned on the time table. |
|
|
d ) |
Winter Dress Code: (Compulsory from 1st December) Grey Blazers with Academy badge embroidered on breast pocket, in addition to the regular uniform.
|

|
|
The uniforms MUST be stitched to regulation pattern by the approved tailor only (to be notified by the school office).
Jewellery, expensive wrist watches and pens must not brought to the Academy. The authorities will not be responsible for the loss and/or breakage of these articles.
Parents must insist on neatness and cleanliness in the personal appearance of the children. Pupils who come to the Academy dirty or dressed in a disorderly manner are likely to be sent home. |

DISCIPLINE & SUSPENTION:
|
|
1 ) |
Students found speaking in any language other than English will be punished. Conversation in vernacular allowed only during the first language classes. Students found loitering outside the school premises before, during or after school hours are liable to be punished. |
|
|
2 ) |
The cost of repair of any kind of damage done to the school property by a student must be borne by the parents of the students concerned.
|
|
|
3 ) |
Students absent on the day before the examination/ test will not be allowed to appear for the examination/ test unless the parents have seen the Headmaster / Headmistress. |
|
|
4 ) |
If the child is late thrice in a month he/she will be suspended from school for a week. Habitual latecomers will be allowed to attend classes only after their parents meet the Headmaster/ Headmistress. |
|
|
|
INSTRUCTION TO PARENTS:
|
|
Parents/Guardians are invited to communicate with the Headmaster/Headmistress personally or by letter on any matter concerning the welfare of their wards. Interviews should be arranged by letter or over the telephone as it is impossible for the Headmaster/Headmistress to interview parents who call without an appointment.
Parents/Guardians are requested to send their wards fully equipped with all books and stationary required for their respective classes.
All parents are expected to co-operated in the work of the school by enforcing regularity and discipline and by taking an interest in their child’s progress and conduct. Parents are requested to regularly check the Student’s Diary and note the remarks, if any, by the teachers. Half yearly reports should be signed by the parents and returned to the class teacher on the first working day after distribution of report cards.
Parents and Guardians are requested to remember that their wards need Love, Care & Encouragement at home to do well at the Academy. |
